Freshmint: an app built by our team of AI agents

Freshmint is our own product. It helps companies plan and run events together with their partners. We wanted to see how much a small team could build if AI did most of the work and experienced engineers checked every step.

We built our Software Factory, a team of AI agents. Each one has a single job:

• Tester: uses the app like a real customer and fixes anything broken or confusing.
• Security guard: tries to break into the app, then fixes the weak spots it finds.
• On call: watches for errors in the live app and fixes the biggest one.
• The rest: clean up old code, make the app faster, improve the design and marketing, and work through the to-do list.

Each agent suggests one change at a time. An AI reviewer checks it, and a person approves it before it goes live.

We built the whole Freshmint app this way, and our Software Factory keeps improving it every day. It's the opposite of vibe coding: AI does the heavy lifting, and experienced engineers set the standards and check every change.
